Flower Care

You have received more than a bunch of flowers and have questions on how to treat them best! The following steps are a sure and easy way to give you the best from each flower:

1. Cut each stem
Upon receiving your flowers unpack carefully and, with a clean cutting utensil (scissors are recommended) cut about an inch off every stem. This will allow your flowers to hydrate properly.

2. Use a clean vase
Using a clean vase will guarantee that a bacteria free environment is set for your flowers.

3. Use clean water
Clean water is a sure way to give your flowers a longer vase life. We recommend you use water at room temperature.

4. Remove lower foliage
If any foliage lies beneath the water level, we recommend that you remove it, as it will help you keep a cleaner water environment. Unnecessary foliage will generate bacteria if it is left underwater.

5. No excess heat or direct sunlight.
Keeping your flowers away from excess heat and direct sunlight will help them last longer. Cool (65-72 degrees) room temperatures are recommended.

6. Keep a good water level on your vase.
Check regularly to make sure that the water level is steady. Initially, your flowers will tend to consume more water, so the first few days it is essential that you make sure that your vase never runs dry!

Also, if you notice that your water is dirty or murky, change it completely.
